Climate Crisis was one of my final year University projects focusing on sustainability and IKEA. For this project I visited IKEA to get a real insight into their outlook on sustainability and how they approach it which I discovered was through making more and more of their products with materials that are better for the environment. And so I produced a series of prints featuring some of their eco-friendly products, four of these prints convey the message of balancing on the edge just as the world is with the climate crisis. Then for the second half of my project I focused on the native animals of Sweden to create a kid friendly wallpaper pattern, with it being black and white it will go with any other colour in a kids bedroom and also gives the potential to use it as a giant colouring book.
